Accessibility

Effective: June 3, 2026  ·  Applies to: jkmggroup.com
Operated by: JKMG Group, Dallas, Texas  ·  Questions: michael@jkmggroup.com

The short version

We want this site to work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, or other assistive technology. We build toward the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard and check our work against it.

If something on the site is hard to use or read, tell us and we will fix it — and we will get you the information another way in the meantime.

§ 01

Our commitment

JKMG Group is committed to making jkmggroup.com usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they rely on. We treat accessibility as part of doing the work properly, not an afterthought, and we aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

§ 02

What we've done

Steps taken to make this site more accessible include:

  • Structure that reads in order. Pages use real headings, landmarks, and semantic markup so a screen reader can move through them in a sensible sequence.
  • Keyboard access. The site can be operated with a keyboard alone; interactive elements are reachable in a logical order, and there is a skip-to-content link.
  • Visible focus. The element you are on shows a clear focus outline, so keyboard users can see where they are.
  • Text alternatives. Meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative elements are marked so they are skipped.
  • Contrast. Text and its background are chosen to meet the WCAG AA contrast ratios for readability.
  • Respecting motion preferences. If your device asks for reduced motion, the site honors that and turns off non-essential animation.
  • Resizable, reflowing text. The layout holds together when text is enlarged or the window is narrow.

§ 03

Where we're still working

Accessibility is ongoing rather than a one-time box to check. Parts of the site, or content we add later, may not yet fully meet every guideline, and the assistive technology people use keeps changing. We review the site as it evolves and fix issues as we find them or as they are reported to us.

§ 04

Tell us about a problem

If you run into a page or feature that is hard to use, we want to hear about it. Email michael@jkmggroup.com or call (972) 839-6333. It helps to tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the device or assistive technology you were using. We will look into it and follow up with you.

§ 05

Another way to reach the same information

If any part of this site is not accessible to you, we will provide what you need through another channel. Contact us by email or phone and we will share the information by whatever means works for you, at no cost.
